Pop-Up Markets

MinorOak celebrates its history as a 1930s market building with occasional Saturday pop-ups, coordinating with Sneinton Market Square and the other Sneinton Market Avenues Tenants. MinorOak’s markets always concentrate on local makers, vintage, upcycling, and direct trade. MinorOak has hosted dozens of pop-up markets, including Pagan markets for Samhain, Beltane, and Yule, Christmas markets, LARP (Live Action Role Play) markets, and privately managed market events.

Keep scrolling down for a list of what to send if you want to take part as a trader; it’s at the bottom of the page. But first, the upcoming markets…

2024 Mini-Yule Market

Saturday 7 December 2024, 11am to 4pm

17 of our best traders, ghost stories read by the Nottingham Shakespeare Company, Dee’s mulled apple juice.

Get ready for the end of the turn toward darkness and the beginning of longer days and shorter nights! The winter solstice is on 21 December, and Christmas is shortly afterwards. However you celebrate your mid-winter holiday, you will find gifts with an alternative vibe at the MinorOak Yule Market.

We’ll have 16 artists and crafters and one direct trader. This year, the market is curated and we’ve invited some of our favourites; you might know some of them from the Pagan Markets. If you have people on your list who appreciate things that are beautiful, authentic, locally made, and perhaps a bit… magical? you will love this market!

The 2024 Mini-Yule Market is closed to traders. Please sign up for our mailing list at and select ‘pop-up opportunities…’ to hear about future opportunities.
